Md. Abdul Motin Rubel has been working as a lecturer and coordinator in the Department of Media Studies and Journalism since August 2023. He is currently pursuing his Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in film at Jahangirnagor University, focusing on "Film Direction of Bangladesh: A Critical Analysis (1956-2015)". He obtained his B.A (Hons) and Master’s Degree (2 years) in Journalism and Mass Communication from Visva-Bharati University, Santiniketan, West Bengal, India. He has practically nine years of experience in journalism and communication. He also has experience in various kinds of filmmaking industries. He has four articles in significant international journals. He is actively passionate about research, and his current research interests includes filmmaking and directing, journalism, communication, and so on. Throughout his teaching career, he has assisted numerous students with thesis supervision, job preparation consultation, and advice for fresh graduates getting higher study.
