Short Biography:

Mir Hasib Mahmud is an entrepreneur, business consultant, and author with over eight years of experience in the startup and corporate sectors of Bangladesh. He began his career in leading media organizations and later transitioned into the corporate world, where he played significant roles as a communication expert, business development professional, and public relations strategist. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Communication and Journalism from Stamford University and a master’s degree from Jahangirnagar University.

He is the co-founder and former CEO of Best Aid Limited, where he successfully raised both domestic and international investments along with multiple grants. Over the years, he has provided consultancy to more than 15 companies, guiding them in securing investment and accelerating growth. In 2024, he achieved notable success by raising investment through Shark Tank Bangladesh, demonstrating his strong investor-facing and communication skills.

In recognition of his impactful work, Mir Hasib Mahmud received the National SME Award 2025 from the SME Association of Bangladesh, in the category of Best Social Entrepreneur. He has also successfully completed an ICT Division–funded research project titled “Identifying the Approaches to Motivate Marginalized Tech Startups and Their Barriers to Success in Bangladesh.” These achievements highlight his commitment to advancing the startup ecosystem and supporting inclusive innovation in Bangladesh.

As an author, his book Student to Startup Founder has gained recognition as a practical guide for students and aspiring entrepreneurs. He is frequently invited as a guest lecturer at universities and training platforms, where he shares insights on entrepreneurship, communication, and business growth. Through his initiative, Lead Nation Academy (LNA), he is also actively engaged in skill development and educational projects aimed at empowering youth and future entrepreneurs.

Beyond his professional career, Mir Hasib Mahmud is actively involved in community and professional networks. He served as the Local Secretary General of JCI Dhaka Eminent in 2024 and continues to contribute through Rotary Club and various business associations.

His core expertise includes startup strategy, investment readiness and pitching, public relations, brand and communication strategy, leadership and team development, and project-based consulting. Passionate about mentoring, he enjoys guiding entrepreneurs and teams by combining practical case studies with real-world insights, helping them transform ideas into sustainable ventures.
